Rege Jean Page Stars and Produces 'The Count of Monte Cristo' Film in Exclusive International Edition

Washington D.C., [USA], March 21 (ANI): The actor famous for "Bridgerton" Rege-Jean Page is set to both star in and produce the new 'The Count of Monte Cristo' film, which is adapted from the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas. Alexandre Dumas , reported Deadline.
The film will commence production under Department M , the independent production company established by top-tier producers Mike Larocca and Michael Schaefer.
As reported by Deadline, the initial iconic book was authored by Alexandre Dumas And it revolves around a young sailor who is wrongly charged with treachery. After spending many years in captivity, he breaks free and sets out to exact vengeance upon those who unjustly harmed him, eventually rising to become the affluent Count of Monte Cristo.
This isn't the first instance of Hollywood adapting one. Alexandre Dumas In 2002, the novel 'The Count of Monte Cristo' was adapted into a film featuring Guy Pearce and Jim Caviezel in leading roles, directed by Kevin Reynolds.

The actor has also appeared in notable productions such as the Paramount movie 'Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,' the Russo Brothers' 'The Gray Man,' Shonda Rhimes' TV series 'For the People,' and he gained recognition with his performance as 'Chicken George' in 2016’s 'Roots,' a HISTORY channel miniseries that received seven Emmy nominations.
In the meantime, Page was most recently spotted acting alongside Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett in Steven Soderbergh's movie 'Black Bag,' which debuted just last week.
